Engagement

Tucson | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Ashley and Alex

It’s such an honor to be able to photograph this sweet couple. Ashley and Alex are 2 souls that are meant to stand the test of time. They compliment each other’s personality and seeing them together just makes me fall in love with them and the genuineness that they bring. Truly soulmates - both silly and sweet and really speaks true to what you see is what you get - but so much more! They met online and after pulling an all nighter chatting about all Star Wars film, they ran 5k together. The rest is history.

I had lunch with Ashley and Alex not long ago wanting to learn more about who they are. Ashley is an amazing baker and I love going to Woops just to see her. Her cheerful and happy personality brightens up my morning everyday. Alex is a musician and plays the trumpet for one of Tucson’s most prestigious orchestra. Truly one of my favorite couples in Tucson.

Cheers guys, thank you for allowing me to spend the afternoon with you! xo

This is their story:

Bisbee | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Diljot and Phil

It is such an honor to shoot this session with one of my favorite Tucson photographer, Pri Matei (Priscila Matei Photography), in Bisbee this weekend.  The airbnb that Pri has found for this session was nothing short of amazing with the perfect light and vitange vibe throughout. It is truly a hidden gem. Bisbee is such an amazing town full of artisans and the drive there is so peaceful.  Beautiful desert scenery stretches beyond the eyes can see.

Diljot and Phil are so amazing to work with. They are so much in love so photographing them being just that was a breeze. Thank you guys for driving all the way to Bisbee and for trusting in our vision.

Inspirations are everywhere but I love to shoot with my heart instead of my eyes. Music is definitely one of my go to for inspiration and lately I've been loving this song from Bon Jovi. It seriously has been on repeat and reminds me of that first love. The kind that takes you back to High School or even college for some of us. The kind that stays with us after decades. As we aged and grow older, that love lingers... and if we're one of the lucky ones, that love will linger in our hearts forever.

Tucson Wedding Photographer | Lacey and Adam Engagement Session

I am absolutely so thrilled to share this engagement session with you guys. Lacey and Adam flew all the way from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Tucson for their session. They are so sweet and super chill, and they have the sweetest southern accent. I mean it was the sweetest!!!! I can listen to them talk all day. It was such a dream that they have chosen me to photograph this session.

Here are a few favorites from our session. Swoon!!

Tucson Wedding Photographer | Chris and Jancy Engagement Session

Friends, I am so stoked to share this engagement session with you.  The beautiful sunset sky adds just the perfect amount of mood to this session. It feels so romantic, doesn't it? My couple, Chris and Jancy, flew all the way from Shanghai, China, to shoot their engagement session with me here in the desert of Tucson. Chris is a UofA alumni and loves the desert. The desert loves him back by way of jumping cactus clinging on to his wool sweater ;).

Jancy looks so gorgeous amongst the majestic landscape in the backless ivory dress. They are so easygoing, super sweet, and fun to work with. I am so in love with their love [insert Kenny G. Forever In Love...].

Gates Pass | Tucson Wedding Photographer

This was such a beautiful surprise proposal. A huge congratulations to Heidi and Miguel. I'm so happy to be a part of your special day!

Miguel planed everything from the location to details of the ring. But let's talk about the ring for a second. It is custom made by his aunt, Lisa McConnell, https://www.lisamcconnell.com/. The center stone is a beautiful sapphire with 2 diamond side stones. So perfect.

We drove to Gates Pass to scout out the area the day before. We (well... mostly Miguel) checked out every nook of Gates Pass, decided on the time, and narrowed it down to this beautiful spot at sunrise.  He got down on one knee. It was so sweet. They are both really sweet, actually.

A special shoutout to my 2nd shooter, Andi O'bert, for getting up way before sunrise and capturing this sweet proposal from the opposite side of me.
