Tucson | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Amie and Morgan Story

I had the pleasure of photographing Amie and Morgan wedding this past weekend. Amie has been my Instagram friend for awhile and I didn’t know until recently that we have a common friend (hey Anthony Perez). Earlier this year, Amie reached out to me to photographer her family session but she was also engaged. So I asked her out to lunch, my favorite spot: Time Market. I really fell in love with her personality when we met so I asked who she has chosen for her wedding photographer. Stars aligned and she hasn’t picked one so there I was pouring my heart over to her over lunch. I really wanted to photograph her wedding and I’m so beyond excited to be chosen. What an amazing couple. As with any wedding, anything can happen and it’s really important to enjoy the moment and go with the flow. It is so important to me to be able to work with couples who can roll with it.

Amie and Morgan were so cool under presure, I mean so amazingly cool. Their ceremony was set for sunset and it was running late. Late as in, they were racing against the sun. Morgan ran a lot that day. Probably more than any groom I’ve seen on his wedding day. Every time I looked up, he was running - but always had a smile on his face. There was no stress. Amie’s mood mirrored his the entire time. What a beautiful couple inside and out.

Congratulations on your wedding Amie and Morgan. Enjoy these sweet peeks.

A quick shoutout is in order here to my amazing co-photographer, brilliant photojournalist, and friend: Andy Shepard. Thank you for everything Andy.

Getting ready venue: Hilton El Conquistador
Ceremony venue: Oro Valley Country Club

This is their story.

Tubac | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Lindsay and David

It is such an honor to be able to photograph Lindsay and David on their wedding day. I have known Lindsay for a very long time… back in our teen years. She was one of the sweetest friend then. She has not changed and remains the sweetest friend today. I’m so happy that Lindsay and David have found each other, two of the most genuine souls and the sweetest couple I have ever met.

Surrounded by close friends and family, their ceremony was intimate and lovely. Every detail was thoughtful and eloquent. An example, a pin of David’s father on his suit jacket tugged at my heart, how loving he is and will be to my sweet friend. A happily ever after definitely has begun on this day.

Thank you so much Lindsay and David, for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

A special thanks to my amazing co-photographer: Timothy Eyrich.

The venue, Tubac Golf Resort and Spa, is absolutely one of my most favorite.

Bisbee | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Diljot and Phil

It is such an honor to shoot this session with one of my favorite Tucson photographer, Pri Matei (Priscila Matei Photography), in Bisbee this weekend.  The airbnb that Pri has found for this session was nothing short of amazing with the perfect light and vitange vibe throughout. It is truly a hidden gem. Bisbee is such an amazing town full of artisans and the drive there is so peaceful.  Beautiful desert scenery stretches beyond the eyes can see.

Diljot and Phil are so amazing to work with. They are so much in love so photographing them being just that was a breeze. Thank you guys for driving all the way to Bisbee and for trusting in our vision.

Inspirations are everywhere but I love to shoot with my heart instead of my eyes. Music is definitely one of my go to for inspiration and lately I've been loving this song from Bon Jovi. It seriously has been on repeat and reminds me of that first love. The kind that takes you back to High School or even college for some of us. The kind that stays with us after decades. As we aged and grow older, that love lingers... and if we're one of the lucky ones, that love will linger in our hearts forever.

Elaina and Dave Story | Stardance Event Center | Tucson Wedding Photographer

It is such an honor to be invited to witness one of the most important days in 2 people's lives. And to be able to tell their love story from start to finish, not just for their close friends and family but for their children and grandchildren. I'm still on cloud nine. Thank you for having me!

Our day started at 10.00 a.m. I met with the groom's party for a relaxing hot shave at the HiEndTight Barbershop.  The guys look amazing - they were glowing.  This should become a thing for all the groom-to-be. What an amazing way to pamper your crew.

Next up we were off to Stardance Event Center. This venue is one of my absolute favorites with it's desert surroundings and rustic vibe.  I had scouted an amazing spot for couple portraits and it did not disappoint. The light was so beautiful and gave off such a romantic feel.

Elaina and Dave have one of the nicest wedding party. Their family are so warm and welcoming. The entire day was filled with so much love.  I still cannot believe that they have chosen me to be their wedding photographer - this beautiful couple.  For that I am forever grateful.

A special thank you to my co-photographer, mentor, and friend: Timothy Eyrich. Thank you for all you do.
