Tucson | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Estefanah and Ayden

Oh my goodness! This sweet sweet couple was so much fun!! I think we just became best friends after this session. I met Estefanah and Ayden over coffee a fews months back. We talked about the latest Avengers End Game and how we were planning to sit though the entire 3 hours of it without missing any important scenes -- because priorities! We talked about how they met, how he purposed, and most importantly … their love of coffee. Mmmmm - another grande hot latte, please!

Over the weekend, we met for their engagement session. Let me tell you that the camera loves these two!! I cannot wait to see them on their wedding day! Ahhhh …. until then!

Tucson | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Mayra and Luis

What a pleasure to work with this beautiful artist! Mayra, http://www.solacemacrame.com, makes the most beautiful macrame in the state of Arizona. Seriously, you guys need to check out her work.

Mayra and I have been friends for a few years now. We met so unexpectedly but we were meant to. A few years ago, I was looking for a vintage dress for a traveling dress project. You wouldn’t believe it but the dress I chose belonged to Mayra and we completely hit it off.

I was super stoked when Mayra reached out to see if I would be interested in a project that would involve some of Tucson’s most talented women. Here are the ladies who made this amazing shoot happen (scroll to the end):

Ireland | Tucson Portrait Photographer | Travel Photography

County Clare, Ireland: Doolin + Fanore + Ballyvaughan + Oughtdarra.

Day 1, 2, and 3

For my birthday this year, I wanted to head north east. I had 10 days to do this and decided on Ireland - my first European country. The only camera I carried with me was the Fuji x100F and it did not disappoint.

My husband found the sweetest little b&b in Doolin (Daly’s House Bed & Breakfast) located in County Clare. We rented a car and spent 2 nights here while exploring the surrounding areas. Our host, Susan, was so amazing. Really really amazing. We felt so welcomed and at home. The space was meticulously cleaned and thoughtfully decorated. I loved her tea cups and the Irish tea in it. Mmmmm, I could finish the entire pot. Breakfast was included, delicious, and we could always skipped lunch because of the hefty portion. And she always had the best recommendations on what to see and do around the area. It rained everyday while we were there. It was cold; but we explored like there was no tomorrow.

There’s no such thing as bad weather when traveling, right? You just got to go with the flow and that’s what we did.

County Kerry, Ireland: Killarney + Dingle

Day 4, 5, and 6

Ahh this county was so beautiful, central, and a bit more busier than County Clair. It definitely made an excellent home-base while exploring the surrounding areas. Driving here was a bit difficult because of all the busy roundabouts and no street signs! Well, there were street signs but they were not synced with Google map. We got lost here … a lot.

Here we stayed at the Lake hotel. Situated on the edge of Killarney National Park with breath taken views of lake Lough Lein. Read more about the hotel here: https://www.lakehotelkillarney.ie/the-hotel.html.

While in Killarney, we took a day trip to Dingle Peninsula and we did not want to leave. Everywhere you look was a picturesque view of the emerald land as it kissed the Atlantic sea. We explored castles, played on the beach, and had a cup of Irish tea with one of the locals. We got to play with a few baby lamb as there were so many.

County Dublin, Ireland: Dublin

Day 7, 8, and 9

This was our last stop before coming back to the states. It was busy, driving here was really difficult. But everywhere you look was an opportunity for serious street photography. There were artists on every street corner.

While in Dublin we stayed in the Clontarf Castle Hotel, a real castle converted into hotel space. The online photos did not do this hotel justice, with amazing medieval interior strategically decorated throughout with colors that wow.

I will end here but hope you guys enjoyed the story. Leave comments down below or contact me if you have any questions on any of the places above.

Until the next adventure! Cheers!

Tucson | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Michelle and Henry

I’m beyond humble that Michelle and Henry chose me to photograph their engagement session. Henry reached out to me a few months back. He and Michelle love the desert and knew that’s what they wanted for their announcement. They are both L.A. natives so this session was super special. Of course, I took them to most gorgeous desert state park in Tucson.

Half way though our session, they introduced me to Drake. I happy to say that we turned this photo session into a jam session. We had so much fun.

Afterwards, they sent me the sweetest thank you love letter that just put me on cloud 9 for the entire month of March. Thank you so much guys and congratulations on your engagement. xo

Tucson | Tucson Wedding and Portrait Photographer | Julianna and Diego

I met Julianna and Diego at the cutest coffee shop in Tucson. They didn’t notice me as they entered, ordered their coffee, and sat right in front of my table. I remember thinking, these 2 people are so cute and so much in love. Being a photographer, naturally I took a photo. It was on my Instagram story for the day when the coffee shop owner reached out to me and asked if she could post it on her page. Six months later, one of Diego’s friend saw the photo, told him about it, and that’s when I got a message from him. It reads (more or less):

Hey Kring, … It’s a really good photo, I was just wondering if you had any other photos that you took that day so I could share with Julianna. If not I just want to say that it was a great photo and an awesome surprise to see! Thanks!

That was all it took, and here we are doing an adventure session together downtown. They are so cute! This is their story…
